Focus Physical Therapy and Lymphedema Management

Spinning Babies® Birth Preparation Class highlights your baby’s active role in pregnancy, labor and birth. This class is taught by Dr. Melissa Arias PT, DPT, CLT who is a pelvic floor physical therapist and a Spinning Babies® Certified Parent Educator.

During labor, you and your baby are performing your first dance together. With any dance there is rhythm, balance and space. During labor the baby needs to pass through all three levels of the pelvis. Learn techniques to help you “make room for baby” as they make their way down, creating balance in your body which can address common ailments during pregnancy and labor and connecting to your little one.

This three-hour class adds confidence to the birthing person and their partner. People train for a marathon, so why not pregnancy and labor?

Prepare for birth
Making space for baby
Positions to open up each level of the pelvis

Cost: $150 per couple

This class is for expectant parents only. Class size is limited to 5 couples to allow for individual practice and attention. Class participants need to be at least 20 weeks pregnant at the time of the class date. We offer discounts for active/retired military and offer a payment plan.
